Boy nearly drowns near the Battlefords
In life-threatening condition in Saskatoon hospital

A 13-year-old boy is clinging to life in a Saskatoon hospital after nearly drowning at Aquadeo.
Shortly after 11 a.m. on Monday, RCMP and EMS responded to a report that a boy on a year-end school trip was drowning.
Lifeguards on duty performed CPR until EMS arrived on scene. He was taken to Battlefords Union Hospital and then transferred to Saskatoon.
Police say the boy is in life-threatening condition.
Aquadeo is a beach resort on Jackfish Lake, which is approximately 40 kilometres north of the Battlefords.
