What the future Art Gallery of Saskatchewan will look like is taking shape.

Concept drawings for the $84-million project were released Wednesday. They will officially be presented to Saskatoon city council on Monday.

The history of the Mendel Art Gallery and Fred Mendel’s contribution to Saskatoon will be honoured with a permanent gallery in the new building.

It will be built adjoining to the Remai Arts Centre at River Landing and will be completed in 2014.
