Armed robbery at Saskatoon pharmacy

Man threatened employees with hatchet

Around 2 p.m. Tuesday a man armed with a hatchet walked into a pharmacy at 29th Street and Avenue P, and threatened two employees, a 54-year-old man and 29-year-old woman.

The man demanded medication, got an unknown amount of drugs and fled.

The suspect is described as an aboriginal man, six foot two inches. His face was covered with a bandana and sunglasses.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

No one was injured during the incident.
