A 46-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle accident just north of Saskatoon.
Word of the crash from MD Ambulance came in just before 7 a.m. Tuesday. It happened on Highway 12 just north of the town of Martensville.
It appears that a vehicle travelling on the highway collided with another trying to cross it.
So far it's unclear if icy roads or fog were factors, though the Highway Hotline does say that most highways around the province were wet Tuesday morning and subject to freezing in temperatures hovering around 0° .
A 42-year-old man has been taken to hospital with minor injuries..
