To kick off the spring renovation season, the third annual Amazing Spaces Home Renovation Tour took place Saturday in Regina.

Throughout the day, the self-guided tour allowed the public to view renovations in homes around the Queen City.

“We’ve got some renovations that were done by homeowners, and some were done by general contractors,” explained Holli Appelquist, organizer of the tour, “it just depends on your skill level, and your level of comfort.”

Appelquist said the 11 stops on the tour were of homes that range from brand new to character homes.

The tour cost $25, with all proceeds going to Hope’s Home.  The funds will be used towards their Daytime & Extended Respite – a program that provides parents with up to 24 hours of respite for their children who have complex medical needs.

Appelquist said the goal was to donate $40,000.
