The plume of white smoke seen outside Saskatoon east of Lawson Heights is from a grass fire.
Four crews were out to battle the flames that covered about 1,000 acres of brush near Highway 5 north, according to the RM of Aberdeen's deputy chief.
The blaze was brought under control, with crews continuing to deal with leftover hot spots.
