Delta Bessborough rife with ghost stories
It's ghost story season as Halloween peeks around the corner, and perhaps nowhere in Saskatchewan is is more storied than the Delta Bessborough hotel in Saskatoon.
The 76-year-old hotel has numerous apparitional accounts, like a man in a grey suit and fedora who strolls the conference floor late at night greeting passersby with a polite "hello".
One man who claims to have seen this spectral spectacle personally is Colin Tranborg, the co-founder of Paranormal Saskatchewan, who's also heard a first hand account of an encounter in a storage room on the Bessborough's top floor.
"They are adamant that when they got through they saw a face starting at them in the window of a man," he said.
"There is no way he could have been out there because he would have fallen to his death."
He explained that people have also reported seeing two children who look out of place roaming and playing in the corridors.
