A 47-year-old man is dead after an accident on Highway 8.

Police say it happened before 6 p.m. Saturday, when he lost control on his motorcycle trying to make a turn south of Redvers.

Alcohol isn't considered a factor and the man’s name isn't being released until family has been notified.
