Stolen car smashes into tree, 3 boys arrested

A 12-year-old boy and two 15-year-old boys are facing charges after Saskatoon police found a stolen car smashed into a tree.

According to police the owner of the vehicle left the keys on the passenger seat with the doors unlocked on the 1400 block of East Heights Monday night.

The vehicle was found on Carleton Drive.

Police officers and a dog team looked for the suspects and found one of the 15-year-olds a short time later at a house on the 100 block Carleton Drive. The other two were located and arrested a short time later.

The three boys appeared in court this morning on multiple charges including possession of stolen property.
