BUDAPEST, Hungary - Hungarian prosecutors have indicted a Singaporean businessman known as Dan Tan and 44 Hungarians suspected of being involved in an international match-fixing conspiracy.

Chief Prosecutor Imre Keresztes said in a statement Thursday that 32 local and international matches are thought to have been manipulated by the suspects, including former and current players, referees, team owners, an agent and a coach.

PHOENIX - Jurors in Jodi Arias' murder trial resume deliberations Thursday after they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict on whether she should be sentenced to life in prison or death for killing her one-time boyfriend, prompting the judge to instruct them to keep trying.

The panel reported its impasse Wednesday after only about two and a half hours of deliberations. Judge Sherry Stephens told jurors to try to identify areas of agreement and disagreement as they work toward a decision.

ROME - An Italian judge has ordered the captain of the Costa Concordia cruise ship to stand trial for manslaughter in the vessel's shipwreck off the coast of Tuscany, which killed 32 people.

Judge Pietro Molino, at a closed-door hearing Wednesday in the town of Grosseto, agreed to prosecutors' request that Capt. Francesco Schettino of Italy be tried on charges of manslaughter, causing the shipwreck and abandoning the vessel while many of its 4,200 passengers and crew were still aboard.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - A New York City woman has been sentenced to probation for stalking actress Marion Cotillard (koh-tee-YAR') on the Internet.

Teresa Yuan was sentenced Tuesday in Brooklyn federal court. She pleaded guilty last fall.

Prosecutors said Yuan sent 504 emails and 120 webcam videos of herself to a Cotillard fan website in 2011.

The 32-year-old Yuan is being treated for bipolar disorder. The Daily News reports (http://nydn.us/10PDevQ ) that Judge William Kuntz warned her to stay on her medications.

PHOENIX - A jury has been sent to begin deliberating Jodi Arias' fate, deciding whether she should be sentenced to life in prison or execution.

Arias spoke to jurors Tuesday in the penalty phase of her murder trial, asking them to spare her life. She says she'd use her time in prison to bring about positive changes, including helping recycle trash and raising money for domestic abuse victims.

DETROIT - Eminem's song publisher is suing Facebook and an ad agency, saying they copied music from one of the rapper's songs.

Eight Mile Style filed a federal lawsuit in Detroit on Monday alleging that a 30-second Facebook ad broadcast online last month copied music from Eminem's 2000 song "Under the Influence."

The Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/10LFB2N ) reports that the ad was featured in a webcast by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to announce Facebook Home, an interface for Android phones.

GUATEMALA CITY - Guatemala's top court overturned the genocide conviction of former dictator Efrain Rios Montt and ordered on Monday that his trial restart, throwing into disarray proceedings that had been hailed as historic for delivering the first such guilty verdict for a Latin American leader.

constitutional Court secretary Martin Guzman said the trial needs to go back to where it stood on April 19 to solve several appeal issues.

TUNIS, Tunisia - A Tunisian feminist who scandalized her country by posting topless photos of herself online has been arrested after allegedly sneaking into Tunisia's holiest city disguised in a veil, then trying to get undressed during a protest.

PHOENIX - Defence attorneys for Jodi Arias asked the judge to remove them from the case and declare a mistrial Monday, arguing the frenzy surrounding the case has created a modern-day witch hunt.

The judge denied both motions, and Arias planned to take the stand Tuesday. Jurors will find out then if she tells them the same thing she told a local reporter: She'd rather be executed than spend her life in prison.
