So the election campaign is underway and I think across this province we can all agree there is one overarching issue we’d like to see Brad Wall and Dwain Lingenfelter address.

Yes, our economy is growing and people are moving here, but our Roughrider Index is trending sharply downward!  The indicators are clear; the team hasn’t scored a touchdown since the days of leather helmets and they’ve been outscored 99-9 in their last three games.

We are now officially experiencing a Rider Recession. 

This is bad of me, I’m told, but I can’t help it.

Some important questions arise from the story of the ND Dakota goose hunter who nearly died from an allergic reaction to nuts while in Saskatchewan several years ago.

He went for lunch at the Travelodge in Melfort and asked the waitress if  the cheesecake had nuts.  Twice.  Both times he was told no.   Turns out the waitress hadn’t read ingredients on the box.

Which raises some important questions.

This dog not only watches TV, he has favourite shows.

An update on the boob tube loving Rottweiler. Grizz. He’s my cousin’s dog. Loves animal shows of course, and rodeo...it’s the bulls...he also likes curling...but hockey, not so much. Except "Coach's Corner."
