Listener Randy Hickson sent me this photo from Warman...look closely and see the dragonfly swarm. The large number of mosquitoes this year means good eating for these critters.

These are from a farm about 45 min from Humboldt near Watrous.  The green sprayer got stuck so the back hoe was sent in to pull it out.  From a far, the ground looked dry but once on it was like jello.

I really didn't have high expectations going into the theatre Saturday to see "Grown Ups", but I thought with that lineup of funny guys, I would at least have a few good chuckles. Sheesh...what a disappointment. Just bad...flat...not funny...lame script...same old Hollywood formula...don't waste your time or money. However there is one bizarre point in the movie where a big hunky guy at the swimming pool tells the wives he is from "Saskatch-a-toon"...not funny...just weird.
