Saskatoon police are asking the public for information after a man was injured early Thursday morning.
Officers were called out at 5 a.m. to the 1000 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
A passerby told police someone might have been shot.
Officers found a 46-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be a non-life threatening head wound. He was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Police issued an update later Thursday morning saying the man had been released from hospital and that it was believed he had been shot with a pellet gun.
The incident is still being investigated. Police said they are still trying to determine exactly where it happened.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Saskatoon police or Crime Stoppers.
