The Saskatoon Fire Department is investigating an overnight kitchen fire at a Saskatoon restaurant.
Officials said a 911 call came in around 1 a.m. Thursday reporting a grease fire at Specklebelly’s, at 900 Central Avenue.
The general manger declined to comment Thursday morning; however, the restaurant was closed for lunch service. According to the fire department, crews quickly contained and extinguished the blaze.
There were no injuries as a result.
A fire investigator was called to the scene and has started an investigation.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined and no estimate of damages is available.
