Saskatoon police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who may have information about a serious stabbing in Westview earlier this month.
The stabbing happened around midnight Dec. 3 in the 2300 block of 33rd Street West, near Avenue W North.
Officers found a 47-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable but critical condition recovering from his injuries.
Police said two suspects — a man and woman who didn’t know the victim — were involved, and released updated descriptions Tuesday.
The man is described as white with blonde hair, between five feet eight inches and five feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build and wearing a blue jacket.
The woman is described as white, “very slender” with blonder hair, five feet five inches tall wearing a black, down-filled jacket.
Saskatoon police are also looking to speak with the driver of a white truck, possibly a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with a truck cap, who was seen in the area.
It was spotted heading north on Avenue West near Byers Crescent at the time of the stabbing, and is reported to have stopped abruptly when two people ran across the street in front of the truck.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
