Two people are dead and three others injured after a crash near Prince Albert Sunday night.
Big River RCMP said a three-vehicle collision took place around 9 p.m. on Highway 55, nearly eight kilometres south of Debden.
RCMP, fire and paramedic crews from Big River attended the scene.
A woman from Big River Nation and a man from Prince Albert, who were in the same southbound vehicle, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three people from the other two vehicles involved received minor injuries, with one being treated in hospital.
With the assistance of a traffic re-constructionist, Big River RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office continue the investigation into the cause of the crash.
Debden is located around 95 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
