Then there were the other mistakes the officials made that led to more Oiler frustration. But when asked if you want to expand video review to correct the call, fans give an emphatic ‘no.’
From the offside challenge to goaltender interference, the NHL’s foray into the world of the coach’s challenge has been a complete flop.
The NHL is starving for more goals but these rules do everything to prevent them. That is backwards thinking.
And really, deep down, do you have to get the call right every single time?
No. Nothing is perfect, especially the challenge system.
