A dangerous confrontation over a chocolate bar has landed a teenage boy in trouble with Saskatoon police.
A 15-year-old boy entered a convenience store on 22nd Street W Wednesday evening around 10 p.m. and allegedly took the candy bar.
When asked to pay for the item, police reported he brandished a knife and threatened staff.
The boy allegedly fled the store on foot but was found by the Saskatoon police air support unit, which directed officers to his location.
The boy is facing charges of assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 and breach of conditions.
He was also wanted on outstanding warrants.
Police say no one was hurt in the incident and the knife was confiscated.
