The list of candidates vying to become the next mayor of Saskatoon has grown.
Consultant, Devon Hein, jumped into the race before the nomination deadline closed Wednesday afternoon.
Hein joins incumbent Don Atchison, Charlie Clark and Kelley Moore.
Former mayor Henry Dayday withdrew from the race on Tuesday.
It looked like there would only be one candidate running to become the next councillor in Ward 7, but a second candidate has now entered the race.
Service technician and business owner, Monique Koskie, announced her intention to run against incumbent Mairin Loewen.
A total of 36 people are running for council seats in Saskatoon’s ten wards.
A complete list of candidates can be found on the City of Saskatoon website.
Voting day is Oct. 26.
