The CFL has fined the Saskatchewan Roughriders $60,000 and taken $26,000 from the team’s 2016 salary cap.
The fine comes after a league investigation found the team had violated roster rules.
The league said the team violated rules by having player who were on the six-game injured list take part in practice.
