RCMP are investigating after a 69-year-old man from the Kawacatoose First Nation died last week.
On Thursday morning, the man was found outside a home on the first nation, about 121 kilometres north of Regina.
RCMP said the man was in medical distress and taken to Wynyard Hospital, but was soon moved to a hospital in Regina by STARS Air Ambulance.
He died in hospital Friday.
RCMP said they’re working with the Major Crimes Unit South, Yorkton Forensic Identification Section, and the Office of the Chief Coroner to figure out whether the sudden death is suspicious.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
