Environment Canada issued a number of weather warnings and watches for parts of the province on Wednesday.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for several parts of central Saskatchewan, including the areas around Prince Albert and Prince Albert National Park, La Ronge, Shellbrook, Spiritwood and Duck Lake.
A severe thunderstorm watch, which is considered slightly less serious than a warning, was issued for Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling and Wawota areas in the province’s southeast.
Environment Canada warned people to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
The warnings and watches changed throughout the day as meteorologists tracked storm systems in the province. The latest bulletins for the province can be found on the Environment Canada website.
