Saskatoon police are investigating a local woman for impaired driving following an early morning crash Thursday.
Officials said the 20-year-old was the driver of a car that collided with a concrete barricade on Idylwyld Drive north of 51st Street around 2 a.m. on May 5.
Saskatoon fire crews also responded and found the car had hit the barricade hard enough to separate itself from its engine.
The woman was the only person in the car, and she was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Saskatoon police said charges are pending in the case.
