Investigators have finished their work after a minivan crashed into a Saskatoon apartment building Friday morning.
Traffic restrictions were lifted at 14th Street East and Acadia Drive shortly before noon.
Police were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision in the area shortly before 7 a.m.
A minivan travelling eastbound on 14th Street crashed through the exterior wall of an apartment building that was vacant at the time.
The driver fled on foot, but a concerned citizen followed him.
Eventually, security officers at Centre Mall took the man into custody.
No one was injured.
A 20-year-old Saskatoon man will face a number of charges.
Both alcohol and speed were contributing factors to the incident.
