Two Saskatchewan men are facing charges after the discovery of a stolen vehicle led police to drugs and money.
According to the Regina Police Service, canine officers came across the stolen vehicle around 3:30 a.m. on Montague Street near Hill Avenue on Saturday.
More officers were called, and when they arrived, police confronted the four people in the vehicle.
When searching it, police said they found cocaine, cash and a scale.
Two of the people in the vehicle were arrested and charged.
Dustin Smagata, 22, from Saskatoon, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime, failure to comply with undertaking, and failure to comply with recognizance.
Emmanuel Jacobs, 21, from Regina, is only charged with failure to comply with undertaking.
Regina police said the two made their first appearance on these charges Monday morning, but that more charges could be laid.
