Another flag person has been has been hurt after a collision at a highway construction zone, this time on Wednesday evening south of St. Walburg near Paradise Hill in northwest Saskatchewan.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision at the intersection of Highway 3 and 26. A car was stopped at the construction zone when it was hit in the back by a truck.
The 48-year-old female driver of the stopped vehicle and the flag person, a 17-year-old man, were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The 43-year-old driver of the truck was not hurt.
Just last week, the trial for Keith Dunford wrapped up in Weyburn. He is accused of hitting and killing 18-year-old flag person Ashley Richards in an orange zone three years ago. A decision is expected in October.
