Rain and high winds persisted on Tuesday in the Queen City. By the evening, it had caused some damage as well.
There were reports of several trees being knocked down or broken by the wind. The power was out for several parts of the city, including northwest neighbourhoods where a power line was blown over (see below).
Part of a fence from the Ross Street overpass was blown over and was left hanging from a line above the overpass, down onto the Ring Road below. Regina police officers were soon on scene and began redirecting traffic.
The storms were expected to end overnight, making way for sunny, hot days for the rest of the week.
